What's New? - New London, Connecticut.
What's New - Well the old in New London, Connecticut. As the winter chills our bones and our toes tingle with those little bells of winter New London an old port town on the banks of the Thames River in Southeastern Connecticut often overlooked by passers by on the main interstate (95) has several new additions to our "What's New" section.
With the closing of Xocolatl on State and Green Street in the late summer of 2007 a void was left on the New London eating landscape. Xocolatl offered inventive chocolate treats, lattes and more not counting those great and addictive Xocolatl warm drinks however business was not strong enough to survive and sadly enough their doors closed. However someone else has taken over 140 State Street and is running a French style organic bistro. TheNewEnglandcoast.com will check this place out in our voyage scheduled for February 2008.
