How about Norwich,CT this summer?

With the thoughts on the economy, gas and heating oil prices, property taxes and evaluations lets take a break and how about checking out Norwich,CT this summer?

Norwich will be celebrating their 350th birthday during the summer with the bulk of the activities being in June capped during the last weekend of June (26th-29th) with tall ships and events all around. More information can be seen at  www.norwichct350.com

Expected are 20 or so tall ships, colonial re-enactments, the original deeding of Norwich to the English colonists by Uncas and more. A great summer event or parking and walking!

Come on down and check out one of America's rising stars... as restorations of historic buildings from colonial era taverns to 19th century millionaires homes dominate the downtown area.

    Hello!
I'm working on some research for New England Travel magazine and would love to get some info from someone familiar with driving around New England during the summer time. Would you be interested in sharing your experiences and tips? Sorry I had to leave this as a comment, but it seems the only way to contact you through this site! Let me know, and thanks! If you're willing to help, I'd be looking for an insider's view to smart road travel, or information about past road trips! Thanks!
