Yes it's true... the New England coast has never been better...more places to visit, more places to stay and more places to eat all in one day trip, long weekend or extended trip. This summer we wil chronicle our journey from Europe to Boston, the Cape and Islands followed by a journey to Newport and then Connecticut. We will offer updated tips on where 2 stay, where not 2 stay and well how to share or avoid the same experiences that we had.

After using sometime to find places to stay one might thing "wow there is not any real recession going in New England" as rooms at Inns, B&Bs and even roadside hotels were full or very expensive. While on the Islands of Nantucket and the Vineyard, Block Island and on the Cape room rates under 250.00 are hard to come by one has to wonder...is the economy that bad or am I missing something?
